This buffer zone is not necessary if: -sufficient catching systems are available for the water and soil transported by run-off, which do not flow into surface water or are not connected with the urban drainage system or -the product is used for conservation or no-tillage methods. |

In addition to the minimum buffer zone from surface waters stipulated by state law, the ban on application in or in the immediate vicinity of waters must be observed at all times for drift reduction classes marked with "*". Violations may be punished by fines of up to 50 000 EUR. |
