It is not necessary to observe this buffer zone if the product is applied using equipment which is registered in the index of 'Loss Reducing Equipment' of 14 October 1993 (Federal Gazette No 205, p. 9780) as amended. Irrespective of this, in addition to the minimum buffer zone from surface waters stipulated by state law, the ban on application in or in the immediate vicinity of waters must be observed at all times. Violations may be punished by fines of up to 50 000 EUR. |
